Outfit of the day: Middle Cove Beach

Today was so beautiful outside, well actually it was windy, cloudy and about 15 degrees out.  However, compared to the weather that we've been having lately it was gorgeous!

My boyfriend and I decided to take advantage of it and go to middle cove beach, it's small rock beach looking over the Atlantic ocean.  It was pretty windy but the sun was shining through the clouds.  The outfit is pretty simple, but it is the first time I was able to wear this dress this year.  The dress is from Urban Outfitters and the jean jacket I bought in grade 9 but I can't remember where from. It's one of my favorite pieces in my closet!  The sunglasses are new and they are from American Apparel, they were part of my summer wish list, and my chucks are from a kids store actually since my feet are to small to buy chucks from a normal shoe store.

I'm just so excited that this was the first day that actually felt like spring! Hope everyone else is having lovely weather as well!

Outfit of the day: Floral Dress

I bought this dress last summer from a store called Katie in Toronto.  It's comfortable and I love the floral pattern, perfect for spring. The boots were a birthday present from my sister a few years ago so they are super broken in and I can wear them all night long without my feet hurting.  I wore this outfit to a friends going away party last week.

Summer Wish list

I finally finished exams, and hopefully my degree!! I won't find out how I did in my courses until the 25th but I think I did ok. 

Now that I can finally stop stressing about school, I'm getting really excited for summer! The beach is totally calling for me, or what passes as a beach here in Newfoundland.  Either way, it's still  a long time coming, we had snow yesturday. 

For now I'm thinking about all the things I want for summer, here are a few and I've actually already bought some of them as a 'you worked hard on your exams' present to myself!

Outfit of the day: Fake Prom

Yesterday I attended fake prom, it was awesomePerhaps better then my actually prom. I obviously went with my boyfriend, but a lot of my friends where there too. They had it decorated like the proms you see in 80's movies; balloons, cake, a kissing booth, and white arch to take prom photos. The band was my favorite part my favorite part, they totally set the mood with 70's and 80's music and they were very talented! 

I didn't buy anything special for fake prom, because ... well it's fake prom.  So I actually wore a dress that I had made about a year ago for a wedding and I've only gotten to wear it that one time.  I paired it with the American Apparel petticoat and the sash, and some Le Chateau pumps.

Outfit of the day: Lacoste Sweater

Sorry I haven't posted in a while... end of school and lots of crap at work has kept me super busy!

But my life is about to get a hell of a lot better: last day of classes are tomorrow and then I only have two exams to write and then I'm done! Plus, my boyfriend and I are going to PROM! well fake prom, but I'm really excited. 
Anyway, our tickets had to be purchased at this vintage store called Model Citizen, which I love! They have great local jewelry and it's about the only place in St. John's where you know that you'll get something and won't see five other people wearing it the same day you do.  I got this Lacoste sweater there in a really pretty green colour, it's a little small but I'm hoping it will stretch out.  The shorts are from American Apparel! It's a pretty plain outfit, but I think that's why I like it.
