A leap day comes but once every four years. It's an extra day to do something you wouldn't normally do right? Well, this leap year I choose to give myself a challenge. I think every girl has a few items in their closet that they love but never wear. Well since leap day is here I choose to wear something I have not worn yet, then I looked through my closet and realized I had quite a few items to choose from, so for the next seven days I will wear something from my closet that I have not worn yet.
The first contender is a blue sequined skirt. I love this skirt but I have such hard time wearing it because I feel like I should be clubbing. Well I wasn't clubbing so I had to make the skirt seem a little more casual. I paired it with a cable knit sweater and wool tights because it was freezing out today!!
I wore this outfit to the Keg for dinner with my boyfriend. He took me out because I got accepted into school in Toronto. I'm very excited and if you read my New Years Resolution blog post then you know that moving to Toronto was one of them. If you want to see how one of my other resolutions is going you can check out my other blog 100 day diet journey.
Our tickets are booked for March 31, so I have month to finish my favs of St. John's. I took these photos downtown on George Street. This is the most famous street in town, if you've heard of St. John's you've definitely heard of George Street. It's a fun street, it's blocked off from cars and there are nothing but bars. No matter what kind of mood you are in you can find a bar to go; dance bars, dive bars, live music, Irish bars, etc.
